I have been around cameras all my life. Both parents influenced me with their own interest in photography. Almost everywhere my family went was captured on slides or 16mm film. As a teen I was lucky enough to have  black and white darkrooms at home and at school. I did lose interest for many years, working full time as a Porsche Technician and raising a family. Roughly 15 years ago I started again. Shooting primarily slide film my entry into the digital world was through a modest slide scanner, but it allowed me to learn to process images for print. To me on a fundamental level my concept of a photograph is still as a physical object. To that end, my goal has been learning to capture an image and create something permanent, that continues to engage the viewer.   ...............
